We offer equipment rental, RV storage lot, resale lot, stables, family camping, swimming pool, and a nature trail.

Our Outdoor Adventure Program offers many fun and exciting trips. Our trips include, but are not limited to, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, dinner cruises, pontoon boat rides, rock climbing, and mountain biking for the outdoor enthusiast. Recreation checkout offers outdoor and recreation equipment for your use. Available at the base lake is the Family Camping facility, offering RV spaces to traveling members of the Armed Forces. The base pools are also our responsibility during the season when they are open.

Directions: Follow US-67 North from Little Rock to Jacksonville. Exit at the AFB exit (Exit 11) and follow signs through gate. Go straight ahead on Vandenberg Drive to Arnold Drive (first junction), turn left and follow Arnold Drive about 1.5 miles to Second St. (Family Camp Sign on your right). Turn right on Second St., then turn left at first road into FAM Camp. Check-in is at building 640 but you can find an empty space, call and then leave your money in an envelope at the bulletin board at the camp. Look for tags on posts at each site to determine unoccupied spaces.

RV Pads (Daily Price $12): 10 spaces; W/E/S
Tent Sites (Daily Price $10): 6 spaces, W/E
RV and/or tent sites can be rented by miltary for a monthly fee of $300 if on Military TDY orders.

| ODR Stables |
Outdoor Rec manages the LRAFB Stables. There is over 250 acres of pasture and some trails. The Stables are located on the eastern edge of LRAFB close to the Arms & Archery Range. $65 month per horse. Price does not include feed or care. |

| General Policies and Procedures |
Outdoor Recreation provides recreational equipment and supplies for the off-duty enjoyment of LRAFB personnel and their families. In order to maintain quality services, the following rules and conditions must be followed: |
| Eligibility |
Persons who are military (active duty and retired), their family members, Department of Defense civilian employees, Reservists and National Guard personnel are all eligible to utilize Outdoor Recreation services. |
| Reservations |
Reservations are required for various equipment, which includes a one day deposit. A refund will be permitted if the customer provided Outdoor Recreation with at least 24 hours notification of cancellation. |
| Damaged Equipment |
Please understand that in renting this equipment, you will be held responsible for all costs including repairs or replacement due to damage or loss of equipment, whether or not the damage/loss is your fault. Please inspect the equipment before signing for it. |
Conditions of Equipment Cleaning |
Equipment is rented in a serviceable, clean condition. Please return all equipment clean and fully operational. Failure to do so will result in a $10 cleaning fee. |
Period of Issue |
Items are issued on daily basis. All charges must be paid the day you return the equipment. Certain items will be paid in full prior to pickup. Items checked out on Saturday must be returned by noon on Monday or there will be an additional 1-day charge. |

Must have a fishing license if you are 16 years old and above (State Law).
Kids fishing derby held in June. Lake is stocked with catfish.
Small base lake stocked with rainbow trout during December and January, weather permitting.
